Ride of the Month is back with a bang! This month we're showcasing Christian's MK7 GTI!

Christian's MK7 GTI gives us some real OEM+ vibes and overall is a fairly subtle build, with nothing really jumping out at you in a flashy way, but there's definitely no lack of love, time or money spent on his GTI. The freshly refinished BBS CH wheels really set his car off and make it stand apart from the crowd! There's something nostalgic about a clean set of BBS CH wheels on a VW and it's not often seen today. The ST XTA coilovers helped dial in the fitment just right too! Fitting a 8.5" ET+35 up front does usually require a little bit of camber which makes the XTA's built in camber plates a huge benefit!

If you take a look at the modification list below, you'll notice that Christian didn't put all of his efforts into just looking good or going fast. He made sure to balance out his upgrades, with a well-rounded list of mods. The EQT Vortex turbo, EQT tuning and all the supporting mods make this thing a wolf in sheep's clothing and he's got a bunch of suspension and chassis upgrades to help try and put the power down to the ground. With this setup Christian's GTI should be in the ballpark of 400whp or so - nearly double what the cars come with from the factory!

He isn't done yet either! He's been collecting parts to go MPI with a EQT Brushless fuel pump and is looking into open source tuning options to take the power to the next level. He's also got plans to get the full Oettinger body kit, 034Motorsport StreetSport engine and transmission mounts, a Wavetrac LSD and a bunch more! There might even be a color change coming down the road too!
