Verus Engineering Hood Louver Kit for MK7 GTI & Golf R
OVERVIEW
The Verus Engineering Hood Louver Kit helps reduce engine bay temps and pressure. By improving the airflow out of the engine bay, the louvers are able to improve airflow through the radiator and intercooler; resulting in better cooling stack efficiency. By reducing the buildup of pressure in the engine bay, the louvers reduce front end lift, creating a slight increase in front end downforce!
During the design process; Verus Engineering utilized scan data and CFD to place louvers that flowed well with the hood's curves, retain most of the underhood structural integrity and place the vents in a low pressure location on the hood.
This hood louver kit is for the MK7 GTI and Golf R owner looking for a purposely placed, purpose built and thoroughly tested louver kit that improves the cooling and aerodynamic performance of the vehicle.
