Akrapovic Evolution Line Titanium Catback Exhaust for C8 RS7 & RS6 Avant
*Fitment note - Akrapovic Link Pipe Set is required when equipped with factory downpipes*
Crafted from high-grade lightweight titanium, the Evolution Line catback exhaust system features a special design layout with one center muffler, two side mufflers and a collector made from titanium. The system connects via the stainless steel link pipes which are a larger diameter and feature custom made flex sections. Valves at each side muffler control the flow of the exhaust and help produce the fantastic sound. Every valve housing is cast in Akrapovic’s facility, as well as the complex active X-connection, which also is also valved to control the exhaust's pulses from each side of the engine. The system is finished off with stunning carbon fiber and titanium tips on each side with an all new design.
This system was designed and acoustically tuned from the low down rumble, leading to a strong mid-range and onto a high frequency top end with distinctive feel of Akrapovic’s racing heritage. Akrapovic tuned the sound to still maintain an everyday, civilized sound without drone. Akrapovic saw about a 15-16 horsepower gain when dyno testing and the system is about 30% lighter than the factory.
